Lisa Goldfarb realized she was going to be an artist when at the age of 4 she discovered the splatter brush technique in her Nanna's painting studio. Encouraged by her family and driven by a constant need to constructively release the angst boiling within, Lisa traveled and studied Art. She recieved a B.A. in Painting from Moravian College in Bethlehem Pennsylvania in 1996. She received an MFA in Photography and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts in NYC in 2000. She is a freelance illustrator and map maker, portrait artist and English teacher. She lives in Augsburg Germany but frequently travels back to NYC.
