"In Goldfarb's Happy Holidays" ($400), three kid ice skaters holding symbols of Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanza are obscured by commercialization, symbolized by paper snowflakes cut ouf of retail magazines. Her acrylic creatures "pop" from the canvases. Technicolor cartoon-like scenes beg for large-scale reproduction. Posters, postcards, calanders, I can see it now."
